Getting to actually know Christ through relationship is what true Christianity is about.. Walking with God, Knowing, hearing, following and trusting his voice alone. Faith flowing like a river of living water out of you, coming from Christ himself who is within you, penetrating and becoming everything you are or do. True faith produces works, it is the manifest power of God helping you to become more like the living word who is Christ the Lord.. Living by faith is living through Christ. Any other walk is cold, leaning on our own understanding, righteous deeds, memorizing scriptures only to be seen of men, is not leaning on Christ or living through faith in his word. When we trust Christ and live through him and by him with all our heart, his word will quicken us, empower and keep us. We will be able to surely say not because of any good that i have done, but because of his sacrifice and his work upon the cross, he now is all my hope and his work alone has truly set me free.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
