No Beauty
.
God demonstrated his perfect love towards us that while we were yet sinners (the enemies of God) Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Our loving heavenly father sent his only son into the world to die once for all, shedding his own blood on the cross at Calvary to save every man woman and child from sin and death, to save us from eternal separation from God, saving us from damnation and the pride of self Hebrews 9: 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
If we reject God's son Jesus Christ, we are in this world as an orphan fatherless and desolate, illegitimate without real power, or true peace alone and without God and any hope we are totally lost, never being able to truly understand the things of heaven or God. Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Merely existing not actually living, wandering in a perpetual wilderness in this world moving from one vain moment to the next, in essence spiritually blind, dead finding no real lasting satisfaction or joy in the world. Ecclesiastes 2: 11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun. This is why so many people reject Jesus in an instant and pay no thought or attention to him. They cannot see him nor appreciate the true treasure he represents there is no beauty in him before their eyes.
1 Corinthians 2: 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. They are only able to worship the creation (the temporal things they see with the natural eyes, in and of this world). Man was specifically designed to be more than just a mere spectator of creation, more than just a shallow onlooker. Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
There is a God shaped hole in every ones heart that can only be filled by it's creator. The bible says, the fool has said in his heart there is no God. Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The fact remains, as stated in.. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; As a direct consequence of this all are left unfit, spiritually filthy and unworthy for the Holy Kingdom of Heaven and God. God is not as many think, ‘like a kind of cosmic killjoy’ one who is somewhere up there in the clouds, unapproachable and vindictive, one who is going to.. ‘get you for that!’. Jesus through his example his obedience to the father and perfect love for us has already paid the very high price required for mine and your sins. Philippians 2:8-11, 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus's obediance and sacrifice has given those who repent of their sins, direct access to a spiritual and heavenly kingdom a kingdom that is above all kingdoms in this world. Daniel 2: 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Jesus reconciled us through the sacrificial shedding of his own blood back into a relationship with the true and living God our heavenly father. Jesus without thought for himself, in perfect love and meekness of spirit, poured out his own life, as a cups contents is poured upon the altar, Jesus Christ became our high priest forever. Hebrews 6: 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Making a way to all who repent, follow and receive him as their Lord citizens of heaven. Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Jesus Christ the righteous! The one mediator between man and God, unlocked the door to our birthright. He alone opened up a way for us to recieve access through prayer to a powerful and unseen heavenly realm, that is not of this world. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Through the precious blood of Jesus and by his grace (unmerited favour) we have become the light of God in this world. The life and power of this heavenly realm is manifested through and in us by God's word. Applied to us, by his own Holy Spirit emplanted in us through our second spiritual birth. We recieve power for service as true chosen children. Those then who live by faith through the son, Jesus Christ are personally equipt by God's own divine enablement. The children of the Most High God are then able to practically demonstrate their true kinship, love for God the father by living in obedience to his word. John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
We must then study and practically apply the word by faith, (study the KJV you are what you eat, you are the servant of that which you obey). Romans 6:16-18, 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
By default and through the sin of Adam by our natural birth, man is at enmity with God. We are by our very nature the enemies of Christ and God. Therefore God hates all sin and unrighteousness, because sin separates us from a loving relationship with our creator. Sin is a trap and a snare, it is deceitful above all things. Those who are the deepest in sin seem to know the least about it, and very often celebrate their corruption. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Sin is a cancer of soul and spirit, it robs, obstructs truth and spiritual healing. many who live in and practice sin are often times tormented, living in fear of death and have little or no rest ultimately sin will lead them to an eternity in Hell. It is not God's perfect will that any should perish in Hell or live and practice sin. 2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God true intentions towards us are always good, he wants us to enjoy life and he has a perfect plan for the future prosperity for all of his children. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Thanks be to God the father of our lord Jesus Christ for our free will to choose whom we may serve. The hard reality is, there is only two fundamental laws in operation in this world. These two laws govern the ultimate actions of every man woman and child:- The LAW of SIN and DEATH imparted to us all by natural fleshly birth (Through the disobedience and sin of Adam the first man) or The LAW of RIGHTEOUSNESS (Through the obedient works of Jesus Christ) 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (Grace is Gods unmerited favour towards mankind, giving us power by faith in his word to do the works of God and live free from sin) Romans 8: 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Those who reject Christ and spirituality and choose rather to walk according to the default pattern and deceitful nature of sin and the flesh, become debilitated by grand delusion. Ravaged souls, the unwitting and foolish slaves of darkness and corruption. The payment required from God for leading a sinful life is death. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is merciful and loving this is why he sent his only son to die in our place. Being able to receive and enter into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus is our tremendous and valuable opportunity to be restored made whole in soul mind body and spirit.2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. To be given the ability to live Godly and sober lives in this present evil age and lead righteous lives by faith through grace. 2 Timothy 2:19-21, 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. You will have as much or as little of God as you want you choose whom you serve. Many believers try to put God into a self made, convenient parcel which they label, "God/Jesus open in case of emergency" Which means they open only in times of personal crisis or turmoil when personal preference has failed them (Which it inevitably always will). Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. God never promised to reward a casual seeker, but God does promise to reward and draw his presence nearer to those who draw nearer to him through obedience by faith in his everlasting word.
Proverbs 3: 6
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. We must not lean on our own understanding or through lack of prayer fall asleep spiritually. Nor walk in wilful ignorance allow ourselves to be led by emotional triggers which only serve to boost a feel good factor, but in reality they are a deception and only short lived satisfiers (eg, retail therapy etc.) Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life. He (Christ) must increase and we must decrease there should be no rival in the life for Jesus Christ and no retreat in the Life for Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 5:6-8,
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Isaiah 53 1- 6
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
